Do you accept walk-ins?

We welcome walk-ins when space permits, but booking ahead is strongly recommended — especially on weekends and evenings. To guarantee a spot, book online or call us at (514) 369-7888.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2–3 days in advance. For weekends, special occasions, or nail extension appointments, booking a week ahead is ideal to secure your preferred time slot. During the holiday season, we suggest booking at least 2 weeks in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please let us know at least 12 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer your slot to another client. You can reach us by phone at (514) 369-7888 or by email at info@dollyswan.com. We reserve the right to charge a $20 fee for cancellations with less than 12 hours notice or no-shows. If you are running late, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment — we recommend calling us as soon as possible so we can arrange accordingly.

Is there parking near the salon?

There is generally metered street parking on Queen-Mary road and Décarie Boulevard, or street parking on surrounding streets such as Trans-Island Ave. We are also a 2-minute walk from Snowdon metro station (Orange & Blue Lines), and several STM bus routes serve Queen-Mary road directly.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, Debit Interac, and Interac e-Transfer. We do not currently accept credit cards.

How long does a typical appointment take?

A basic manicure takes about 30–45 minutes. Gel, acrylic, or nail extension appointments typically take 60–90 minutes. Lash lift, tinting, and extension services vary — please ask us when booking so we can reserve enough time for you.

Do you accept group bookings?

Yes, we welcome group bookings! A deposit is required to secure your reservation. Please contact us by phone at (514) 369-7888 or by email at info@dollyswan.com to arrange your group appointment.

Can children get nail services?

Yes, we can accommodate younger clients for basic nail services. Please mention it when booking so we can plan the appointment accordingly.

Do I need to prepare anything before my appointment?

For manicures and pedicures, removing any existing nail polish beforehand is helpful but not required.

Does Dollyswan do gel nails or acrylic nails?

Yes. We offer gel manicures, acrylic nail extensions, and gel nail extensions. Our technicians are experienced with both classic polish and gel-based products for manicures and pedicures. Please mention your preference when booking.

Does your staff speak French?

Yes — Dollyswan is a fully bilingual salon. Our staff speaks both French and English. If you prefer to be served in a specific language, please let us know at the time of booking. Our website is also available in French at dollyswan.com/fr.
